Views in PowerPoint

PowerPoint provides four types of views. Three of them helps you to develop your presentation: Normal, Slide Sorter and Slide Show. Different types of views used by PowerPoint are as follows:

  1. Normal view: Whenever a user first creates a slide, the screen opens in Normal view. It is a default view and is used for designing. It provides a large view of a single slide at a time.
  2. Slide Sorter view: In slide sorter view, thumbnails of all the slides in your presentation are laid out for you in the workspace. An overall view of your presentation is provide in this view. It is a good tool to help you arrange and resequence the slides it comprises.

Remove focus from the selected shape. Esc

Enlarge the selected shape horizontally. Shift + Right arrow

PowerPoint 2007 is the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint. By using PowerPoint 2007, a user can create dynamic and high impact presentations. It provides tools and commands for protecting, securing, and sharing presentations.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 comprises the following features:

  1. The Ribbon: The Ribbon is a GUI pane, which provides a collection of tabs. Each tab comprises its own significance and relevant set of commands. It replaces menus, toolbars, and task panes. Ribbon comprises some contextual tabs, which are activated only when an object is selected.
