The IC3 Key Applications exam is intended for anyone, who wishes to demonstrate his or her knowledge of word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and presentation software. The exam covers how each type of application software is used to create, edit, and share documents.
The IC3 is a certification program that is designed to teach individuals the digital literacy skills associated with basic computer and Internet use. The Key Applications exam covers popular word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications and the common features of all applications.
The exam consists of multiple-choice, multiple-answer, matching, and true/false, with performance-based simulations to truly and effective measure an individual’s knowledge and ability to complete simple computing tasks in an application or user interface environment. You need a score of 750 to pass the exam.
