How to give spacing before and after a paragraph?

The steps to give spacing before and after a paragraph are as follows:

  1. Select the paragraph(s) to which the spacing is to be applied.
  2. Click on the Home tab.
  3. First

  4. Click on the Paragraph dialog box launcher. The Paragraph dialog box will appear.
  5. Under the Spacing group, enter the amount of spacing in the boxes that are provided in front of Before and After labels.

  7. Click on the OK button.
